Despite all my warnings, I took to the currents and streams
To float what was left of my childhood memories and dreams

There’s no sign of rain, but the storm clouds they hang over head
They mock with their grumbles and tell me I soon will be dead

Stuck in the middle, a canyon of shoreline surrounds
